The German U21 national team started with a victory on the long way to the European Championship in two years. The selection of national coach Antonio di Salvo won 2-0 in Albania at the first appearance of the U21 since the lost European Championship final against England (2-0). The U21 European Championship will take place in the summer of 2027 in Albania and Serbia.
