In front of 30,500 spectators in the Frankfurt stadium, Lea Schüller put FCB in the lead after twelve minutes. Klara Bühl added 2-0. Pernille Harder (48th) met in the second half.

Bavaria increases distance on Frankfurt

Thus, the Munich women have nine points ahead of Eintracht three points before the end, which is currently still in second place. VfL Wolfsburg can pass the SBU on Sunday and move up to Bayern to six points. For the SGE, it is still about direct qualifications for the Champions League.

The Frankfurt women checked the initial phase. More than a free kick from Nina Lührßen over the goal did not jump out (5th).

Schüller uses the first Bayern chance

Bavaria came into play better after around ten minutes – and immediately struck. After preparatory work by Bühl, Schüller scored 1-0 (12th).

Now it went back and forth. After 18 minutes it should have been 1-1, but Lisanne Gräwe missed the goal freely from around seven meters. On the other hand, Harder already had the scream on the lips, but her degree crashed back into the field from the inner post (21st).

Bühl goal counts despite Offside position

Bayern were still allowed to cheer. Harder was again involved, this time as a template for Bühl, who hit the far corner from five meters per volley (29th). However, the goal was preceded by Schüller, which the line judge also showed. Referee Karoline Wacker, however, overlooked her assistant and gave the goal – much to the annoyance of the Frankfurt women.

So the Eintracht went into the break with a two-goal deficit, which became a three-goal deficit shortly after the restart. Sophia Wolter was only able to clarify a flank from Giulia Gwinn in insufficient way. The ball landed before the feet of Harder, who scored 3-0 without any problems (49.).

Eintracht happily in the end

Frankfurt did not open and put the Bayern defense under pressure, but the SGE also failed due to its own exploitation of opportunities. Nicole Anyomi caused a lot of vertebrae, but remained lucky twice (59./69.).

In the final phase, the FCB switched back and left the SGE the ball. However, the Bayern defense kept tight and no longer allowed the Frankfurt channels.

Bavaria receives Freiburg

For FC Bayern, the next day (April 27, 2025, 2 p.m.) continues with a home game against SC Freiburg. Eintracht Frankfurt competes on the same day (6.30 p.m.) at 1. FC Köln.
