Top game in the women’s Bundesliga: The league leaders face the runners-up, VfL Wolfsburg face FC Bayern. Follow the game in the t-online live ticker.
The 6th matchday of the women’s Bundesliga has a special highlight in store. VfL Wolfsburg, currently leaders, welcomes reigning champions FC Bayern Munich to the Volkswagen Arena. Both teams currently have 13 points, but the Lower Saxony team has a better goal difference than their competition from Munich, which is in second place. But who leads the table after the game in the Autostadt?
25th minute: Ballisager appears alone in front of Johannes after a pass from Bühl. But Michel whistles: offside. The defender had put the shot past the goal anyway.
20th minute: The game here has really picked up speed. Both teams sound the alarm offensively, but both appear vulnerable defensively. The Bayern defense in particular shows one or two wobbles in the build-up game. However, VfL cannot yet capitalize on the Munich team’s insecurities.
17th minute: And then the next opportunity follows. And VfL can thank DFB star Janina Minge that it’s not 0-1 here. The corner comes in, the ball slips through to Dallmann, who has plenty of space a few meters in front of the goal and can shoot. Minge blocks the powerful shot in dire need.

14th minute: Bayern are a little better in the game, but VfL has the first good opportunity. Zicai intercepts a bad pass from Kett and brings the ball into the middle from the right. Popp shoots himself into the air, but heads well past Mahmutovic’s goal to the right.
11th minute: Gwinn gets a lot of space on the right and wants to get the ball from the half field into the center. But her cross fails and sails out of the goal.
10th minute: There is still no football treat in Wolfsburg. However, both teams are trying to find the way forward. Bayern are trying to build up the game. Wolfsburg is running fast and is putting the Munich team under a lot of pressure. That could be a means.
