Pavao Pervan remains the VfL Wolfsburg as a replacement goalkeeper. The 37-year-old extended his contract again by a year until June 30, 2026. Since moving from the LASK to the wolves in summer 2018, the Austrian completed 45 games. Behind Captain Maximilian Arnold (30) and Yannick Gerhardt (31) Pervan is the third -party player in the Wolves squad.

“Pavo particularly embodies loyalty, enthusiasm and team spirit – characteristics that make it an indispensable part of our squad. With his experience and personality, he is a role model that we can count on at any time,” said sports director Sebastian Schindzielorz.

Pervan, still without commitment this season, added: “Wolfsburg has become like a second home for my family and me. So I’m very happy to be part of VfL in the coming season. I proud to continue to contribute my part to the success of the team at the highest level.”
