VfL Wolfsburg: Brekalo rejects FC Turin – purchase option is not exercised

Future at VfL unlikely

Josip Brekalo (23) is one of ten players at VfL Wolfsburg who have been loaned to another club this season. The Croatian made 32 appearances for Torino in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing two assists. According to the “table football” ruled out and remaining in Wolfsburg unlikely.

Most recently, he was associated with Eintracht Frankfurt, among others, while Spain is now listed as Brekalo’s dream destination. The international’s market value is €15m after rising €2m in the latest Serie A update.
