The penultimate match of Beazt Fight Night ended with the victory of the ex-alpine skiing star in Tallinn’s Kulttuurikattila.
Kalle Palander made a clear impression on Aleksi Valavuore when the sports influencers met at the expected Beazt Fight Night event in Tallinn’s Kulttuurikattila on Saturday.
Palander was on the hook from the start. Valavuori was counted in the second round, and the match ended with a technical knockout.
According to the former top athlete, he felt relieved in the beginning when he realized that there is nothing to worry about in the ring against Valavuori.
– Somewhere in between it landed one punch, but I soon noticed that in sparring I have faced harder punches, Palander told Iltalehte.
– I noticed that it started to get tired, and when I hit, he realized that aha. From there it gets pretty tough, Palander continued.
Basic things
Valavuori was left lying on the carpet. Timur Yilmaz
Valavuori already fell in the first round, and it was all about survival. I didn’t like the balance at all.
– I hit it a little bit, but it’s a bummer anyway. He started to worry about basic things in boxing. You have to be careful with the edges, but I don’t know what messed it up, Palander wondered.
Beating a friend with fists wasn’t as disgusting as Palander had thought beforehand.
– Not when you forgot. I noticed he was hitting back too. I realized that I have to rot.
Palander describes a six-month journey, during which he lost ten kilograms of weight.
He finally got to step into the ring and show the results of his hard work.
– It was a pretty cool feeling [kiivetä kehään]really sweet. There was surprisingly little tension in the end, I expected that the legs would have been jelly. It wasn’t exciting at all. And the screaming storm was completely absurd.
No longer
Palander said that he does not intend to return to competitive boxing. The sport remains a hobby. According to him, no new seizures are known.
– There is no need to try anything right away. Boxing is cool, I try to get the kids involved. And let’s take the longest sports, billiards, darts and golf and padel.
Finally, Palander thanked his team.
– It was still really great to play with the guys. This is a sweet group, and I got to train with professionals.
Palander is not going to return to the ring. Timur Yilmaz
