VfL Osnabrück keeps an eye on relegation

VfL Osnabrück has kept its hopes of returning to the 2nd Bundesliga alive. Coach Tobias Schweinsteiger’s team won 1-0 (1-0) at the start of the 33rd matchday of the 3rd division at Hallesches FC, who were threatened with relegation, and initially improved to fourth place.

This would mean participation in the relegation because SC Freiburg II, which is currently third, is not eligible for promotion. In the course of the day, however, 1. FC Saarbrücken and Dynamo Dresden can outperform the lilac-whites again.

A direct promotion place is provisionally five points away for the Lower Saxony after the golden goal of Ba-Muaka Simakala (27th).

Halle is still on the last non-relegation place, pursuer SpVgg Bayreuth lurks four points behind.
