According to media reports, VfB Stuttgart is interested in Jamie Leweling from Bundesliga competitor 1. FC Union Berlin.
As the TV broadcaster Sky and the “kicker” reported, the 22-year-old offensive player is to be loaned from the capital to the Swabians.
Leweling moved from SpVgg Greuther Fürth to Berlin last season and played 16 Bundesliga games for the Irons, in which he scored one goal.
The long-term Leweling enjoys a lot of trust at 1. FC Union, but a loan could make sense for the youngster’s sporting development given the competition in the squad, it said.
According to “Sky”, Stuttgart should want to secure a purchase option after the loan.
