VF appoints new Europe heads for The North Face and Timberland

The US clothing group VF Corporation has appointed new managers for its brands The North Face and Timberland in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) effective January 31.

As the company announced on Monday, Mariano Alonso is moving to the post of General Manager of The North Face in EMEA. He succeeds Jan Van Leeuwen, who has been in charge of the brand’s America business since last autumn.

Alonso’s previous role as general manager of Timberland in EMEA has been filled internally. Nina Flood, who most recently led the backpack division VF Global Packs, will take over the post, the group said.

At the same time, the group of companies transferred additional responsibility to its European boss, Martino Scabbia Guerrini. The manager is now also responsible for the Asia-Pacific region and will operate as Vice President, President EMEA, APAC & Emerging Brands, VF announced.
