“I immediately said yes when I was asked to make this artwork,” says the maker of the artwork, Elvira Min. “It is an interesting search: how are you going to convert the feeling of a veteran to show that there is a person behind every military who does what he does from the sense of justice.”
Min finds the exhibition very important. “Because of them we can stand here and do and think what we want.”
After a short stay in the Coevorden castle, the artwork will travel. First it will be on the mayor Renze Bergsma’s office for a while, then it leaves all the way to the Government on the Maas in Limburg. Here the artwork can still be admired together with many others until August 2025.
