A very large fire has been raging in a nature reserve on Havenweg in Budel-Dorplein since Wednesday evening a quarter past 10. The fire brigade has been pulled out with various vehicles to fight the fire.
In the first instance, the Brabant-Zuidoost security region spoke about thirty by thirty meters that is on fire. “But in the meantime the fire has expanded,” says a fire brigade spokesperson. That is why there has been scaled up to a very large fire.
Extra units have been called and a drone is used to better map the situation on the spot
Around half past ten it became clear that extra extinguishing water is needed. A water tank has been requested that must come from Weert (Limburg). There will also be a system on the spot that can lead water via a hose over distance, the so -called WTS400, and an extra fire vehicle is required.
