Verstappen’s pole position in F1 Mexican Grand Prix – Breaking Motorsports news



Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver of the Red Bull team, will start the 20th leg of the season in the Formula 1 World Championship, the Mexican Grand Prix, from the first row.


Declaring his championship in Japan, Verstappen became the owner of the first pocket with a time of 1 minute 17.775 seconds in the qualifying laps of the race to be held on the 4.3-kilometer Hermanos Rodriguez Track in the capital, Mexico City.


George Russell (Mercedes) took the second place, 0.304 seconds behind the Dutch driver, and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), who laps the track 0.309 seconds slower than the leader, took the third place.


The 71-lap race will start today at 23.00 CEST.
