Film director Veikko Kerttula has died, reports Yle.

Born in Tampere in 1940 Veikko Kerttula is dead. Kerttula was 82 years old when he died.
Kerttula is best remembered for the movie Snippet guidance. The film was completed in 1975. He received the Jussi award for his directing work. Kerttula was also awarded with Jussi The usual story – for directing the film.
Kerttula, who worked at Mainos-tv and Yle, directed more than 30 TV plays and TV movies in total.
Kerttula died in Espoo and is buried in Tampere.
