Presenter Vappu Pimiä burst into tears right away Dancing with the stars – broadcast.
Sunday’s TTK broadcast has a Pink Ribbon theme. The goal is to collect funds for Finnish cancer research.
Pimiä ran an insert about Eetus, whose daughter Iita died of leukemia when she was only one month old.
– Although there is already light in life today, the pain of loss will never go away. Leukemia treatments have developed enormously over the years, but unfortunately not all children can be saved yet, Pimiä had tears in her eyes.

Iltalehti’s on-site reporter Mari Pudas says that the people in the audience were also moved by the insert. The TV pictures showed that judge Jorma Uotinen was also wiping away tears.
Pudas says that in the audience, for example, doctor Emilia Vuorisalmi and trumpet player Herbalisti wiped their tears.
After the insert, Pimiä urged the viewers to donate to the Roosa Nauha collection.
