With a detour in Munich, Thomas Müller uses the time to train with his heart club. A detail caused a sensation.
Thomas Müller returned to FC Bayern – at least as a guest on the training ground. The veteran, who left the Munich in the summer towards Vancouver Whitecaps, used the international break for a detour home and a visit to Säbener Strasse. There is currently a delegation by the German record champion around Aleksandar Pavlović. In addition to Müller’s guest appearance, another detail attracted even more attention.

Because Müller trained in Bavaria’s training clothing – with dense full beard. Striking: the 35-year-old was not on the road for a long time. He posted a selfie with a mustache on the Instagram platform three weeks ago. Under the picture, he asked about opinions about his new look. The users mostly reacted enthusiastically: “Mousthachen-Müller (in German: Schnurrbart-Müller, editor’s note) We love,” commented one user. Another wrote: “absolutely!” But there was also a thumb down.
Despite the positive feedback, Müller has apparently decided against a mustache for the time being and, after his guest appearance in Munich, goes to the next round of his beard experiment. There were positive comments on the short message service X. “With a beard? I think it’s great,” wrote a user. Another compared the former international with the fictional figure “Indiana Jones”.
Whether Müller also returns to Vancouver with a full beard will be shown. The next game of the Whitecaps is on September 14th (3:30 p.m. local time) against Philadelphia. That’s why Müller quickly goes back to Canada.
