Donald Trump drives on a legendary race track

Just a week after the Super Bowl, US President Donald Trump staged himself at the next sports event. This time he made a few rounds on a legendary race track.
Donald Trump has once again staged himself as a big sports fan. The US President attended the traditional Nascar race Daytona 500 in Florida and caused a stir.
First, Trump’s presidential machine “Air Force One” flew over the stadium in deep flight. Shortly afterwards the big appearance. Trump made two rounds in his armored limousine, called “The Beast”, on the legendary course of the “Great American Race”.
Trump turned directly to the drivers via radio: “This is her favorite president,” he said, praising her skills and courage: “I am a really big fan of you. I don’t know. You have talent, You are great Americans, “said Trump. He then gave his hand in the pit lane, including the motorsport legend Richard Petty, who won the Nascar title a total of seven times.
It was the second big sport event in a short time that Trump visited. A week earlier, he had shown himself at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. In November he was also in New York together with entrepreneur Elon Musk in a UFC fight (UFC: Ultimate Fighting Championship). In addition, Trump has already been seen at the largest wrestling league WWE in the past.
In Daytona Trump was celebrated by many fans. Trump also tried to get over as much as possible. For example, he presented himself with his granddaughter Carolina. His son Eric and his wife Lara accompanied him and recorded the appearance in videos for social media.
However, Trump was not only cheered by the Nascar fans: some fans complained that too much attention had been paid to the president’s visit.
The race itself had to be interrupted after eleven rounds because of rain. Trump used the break to take off – similar to the Super Bowl, which he also left early.
