NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew died in August 2024. Gaudreaut died when a drunk man drove by car from behind to them.
Even at last year’s World Cup, Johnny Gaudreau was with the US team in the Czech Republic.
On Sunday, after a long wait, the US was able to raise the World Cup championship, the team players took a Gaudreau jersey.

19-year-old Zeev Buium reported that the shirt bearing Gaudreau’s name has been with the US national teams in all tournaments and will be in the Olympics.
