Dow Jones-the input of long-lasting assets in the United States surprisingly increased in March. As the US Ministry of Trade reported, the orders increased by 9.2 percent compared to the previous month. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had only expected an increase of 1.6 percent. The increase in the previous month was revised down to 0.9 (provisionally: 1.0) percent.
Stagnation was reported for the order receipt without the transport area. In the case of orders outside the armor area, an increase was 10.4 percent.
Orders for civilian investment goods without aircraft, which are considered an important measurement size for corporate expenditure, rose by 0.1 percent.
In the category of durable assets, products that have a lifespan of at least three years fall.
