US government bans AI company Anthropic after refusing to make concessions to Pentagon

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has identified AI company Anthropic as a security risk within the supply chain. This means that no supplier, contractor or partner of the US military will be allowed to conduct commercial activities with Anthropic, Hegseth said on X.
