Patrice Aminati, aged 31, has once again updated her followers about her incurable cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately, the news she brings is not encouraging…
“The Therapy Is Unfortunately Not an Option for Me”
Patrice Aminati posted an update on Tuesday, July 14, via her Instagram story from the University Hospital in Dresden, where she is receiving treatment. Her news left many followers in shock: “I want to sincerely thank all of you who sent me a video regarding a therapy being conducted here in Dresden. Unfortunately, the therapy was previously evaluated for me and is not an option.”
This particular therapy had shown promise in helping some cancer patients, making the situation even more disappointing for Patrice. She explained, “I have a different HLA type. HLA, or Human Leukocyte Antigen, means my body’s genetic cellular structure does not respond to it.” This treatment potential seemed like a beacon of hope, particularly for those who are H-positive, but for Patrice, it was a missed opportunity.

Patrice Aminati’s Battle with Advanced Skin Cancer
In spring 2023, just months after the birth of her daughter, Charly, in August 2022, Patrice received the life-altering diagnosis of melanoma, or black skin cancer. By May 2025, further test results revealed that she was battling stage four cancer—considered end-stage and unfortunately deemed incurable, placing her under palliative care.
Patrice’s journey has been a tumultuous emotional rollercoaster, marked by periods of hope and despair. Recently, she expressed her struggles with her treatment—which had not been effective—resulting in the need for additional radiation. “Don’t ask how I’m coping with this situation. I’m so tired; three years and three months of this—it’s exhausting, leaving one completely burnt out.” Now comes yet another setback in her ongoing battle.
