A Picasso unknown to the general public is auctioned in the Paris auction house Hôtel Drouot. The “exceptional” portrait of his muse Dora Maar, entitled “Bust of a woman with floral hat”, dates from 1943 and has never been seen outside of a small circle around Picasso. The value of the work is estimated at a minimum of 8 million euros.
