United, the FA pardons Garnacho. No disqualification for the attacker

Good news for United, Garnacho has been pardoned by the English Federation (FA) and will not be suspended

The attacker emerges unscathed and miraculously saved Manchester United Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine was under investigation by the English Football Association (FA) due to a comment that had made the rounds on social media. On that occasion, perhaps inadvertently, the footballer had commented on the post shared by Andre Onana and praised the goalkeeper with the gorilla emoji. The reference to a racist message is unfortunately misunderstandable, but not Garnacho’s intention who, after realizing the mistake, deleted everything and apologized. The attacker’s justification was enough for the FA to decide not to sanction him in any way. Below is an excerpt from the press release: “Explained that the use of the gorillas was to highlight the strength and power of his teammates, particularly Onana and Maguire.”
