After shock moment: Union professional reports from hospital

Haved from a shot on the neck, Diogo Leite went to the ground in the game against VfL Bochum on Sunday. Now he reports from the hospital.
Diogo has registered with a thick ruff and still dressed in his Union Berlin jersey. “Thank you for all the support and the news,” wrote Bleite to his photo in an Instagram story on which he shows a thumb. “I’m okay and will be back soon,” continued.
On Sunday there was a shock of his Unioner at VfL Bochum on Sunday. In the 57th minute, the 26-year-old was hit by a hard shot from Bochum’s Matúš Bero directly on the larynx. Bleite then went straight to the ground and rolled back and forth. For seven minutes he had to be cared for by the medical staff before he was carried out of the pitch with a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
Union coach Steffen Baumgart said after the game about the leading condition in the interview at the transferring streaming service: “I don’t know how he is doing. He is now in the hospital.” The defender is out of danger. “Now it’s about that he can swallow again as soon as possible.”
Now it looks like leading the clinic and soon standing again on the soccer field.
Bleite initially came to the German capital in the summer of 2022 as part of a loan from FC Porto. In the summer of 2023, the Union committed him. Since then he has made it into the Champions League with the “Iron” and fought against relegation.
