Transfer to Ireland
Laurenz Dehl is leaving Union Berlin, at least temporarily, and will join the Irish Bohemian Football Club on loan until the end of the year. The versatile team from Köpenick was only used once – for six minutes – by the pros at his home club. Dehl played the 2020/21 season, also on loan, for Hallesche FC in the 3rd division.
“An international loan – in a European capital at that – is the perfect step for Laurenz to gain valuable experience. We’re happy for him that this opportunity exists and we’re confident that Laurenz can master this challenge,” said Oliver Ruhnert, Union’s managing director for professional football.
