“Unfortunately, the French are right”: tight Speedo is more hygienic than swimming shorts, study shows

In French and Italian swimming pools, swimming shorts are often prohibited as they are considered less hygienic than tight swimming trunks. Until now there was no evidence for this claim, but scientists at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, Netherlands have now changed that.
