The reason was said to be an incident in the dining hall with another student. It was said to have been thrown on the floor by a staff member because he was not at the right table and did not want to move, the message states. Ilse Ghiesmans, director: “We checked whether that incident had occurred. There was no one at our school who was aware of such an incident at our school this week.”
The police and the public prosecutor’s office took the threat seriously. They were able to arrest an underage former student of the school. The young man has since confessed that he was the author of the threatening message. He was released on conditions.
