UN experts point to ‘systematic racism’ against people of African descent in Belgium

Belgium must take more concrete measures to tackle facts of “widespread, systematic racism” against people of African descent. This is evident from the provisional findings of an expert group from the United Nations, who has visited our country for the past ten days. Among other things, dealing with the colonial past, the lack of a national action plan against racism and the police performances are being taken on.
