Ukrainians liable for military service will be denied exit under a far-fetched pretext

Citizens of Ukraine liable for military service will not be able to leave the country, said Eduard Basurin, deputy head of the People’s Militia Department of the DPR. Speaking at a briefing, he referred to intelligence data. According to them, the head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deineko instructions given on the restriction from February 20 of the departure from the country of men liable for military service aged 18-45 years. So that such refusals to leave do not cause panic among the population, far-fetched pretexts are mentioned in the refusal: unpaid alimony and fines, lack of data in the visa database, etc.

At the same time, the military registration and enlistment offices of Ukraine are clarifying the lists of citizens subject to mobilization, Basurin claims.

In addition, the intelligence of the People’s Militia has information that the command of the Ukrainian army expects heavy losses among its soldiers in the event of a possible aggression against the Donbass. According to Basurin, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry asks the diplomatic missions of third countries to secretly inform their citizens about the need to leave the Donbas zone.
