Update: England Match Will Not Be Postponed

The Weather’s Impact on the World Cup
Weather has played a significant role in previous World Cup matches. Recently, a round of 16 game in Mexico City between Mexico and Ecuador experienced a delay due to thunderstorms.
That game eventually kicked off an hour late. Similarly, the group stage match between France and Iraq (3-0) in Philadelphia was interrupted by a thunderstorm during halftime, causing a delay of over two hours.
