SortTrasburgo (France), 7 Ott. (askanews) – The plenary of the European Parliament has rejected the request of the Hungarian authorities to suspend the parliamentary immunity of Ilaria Salis. In Strasbourg, an applause accepted the outcome of the vote: 306 yes, in favor therefore for the maintenance of immunity for the Italian MEP, 305 no and 17 abstentions. Salis got up with flowers in his hand to celebrate and many colleagues reached it to embrace her or tighten her hand.
