The German U21 is at the Handball World Cup in Poland in the quarter-finals. The team of coach Martin Heuberger defeated 29:25 (13: 9) on the last match day of the main round.

After a perfect preliminary round with three victories against Serbia (30:29), Switzerland (43:33) and Tunisia (39:26), the German juniors only took a point in the main round against Spain (35:35).

The approximate victory in the final main round game in Kielce also secured the group victory for the German offspring. In the quarter -finals, the German team will meet Sweden on Thursday.
