The German U19 handball players have reached the final of an EM for the first time.
The team of coach Christopher Nordmeyer defeated Vice World Champion Denmark in Montenegro with 37:31 (20:17) and plays for Gold on Sunday (7.30 p.m.).
The best thrower was Chiara Rohr with nine goals. “We saw a great handball game in which both teams brought everything tactically, individually and physically. It was fun to pursue this game,” said national coach Markus Gaugisch.
