Two years later than planned, NK Alpine Skiing will be held at Il Primo

Initially, the Dutch Alpine Skiing Championships were to be held in Bergen in March 2020. The Dutch Ski Association decided to cancel this championship due to the outbreak of the corona virus. The Dutch National Championships will still be held at Il Primo next weekend.

It is still unclear whether skier Maarten Meiners from Naarden will participate in the NK. This weekend, the World Championship giant slalom in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, is also on the program.

About 200 competition skiers are expected at the Dutch Alpine Skiing Championships, both youth and seniors. A few days after the announcement of the cancellation in 2020, the first lockdown was introduced by the cabinet.
