The collision between an inland vessel and a small work vessel happened just before 6 p.m. The work vessel, with two people on board, became submerged. Both people went missing.
Sonar boats and several diving teams were used to search for the victims. A police helicopter also flew above the water for a long time.
The safety region announced halfway through the evening that the underwater rescue operation had been stopped, but that the emergency services continued to search above water. “The search for the missing continues from the quay and from boats that are moored and with drone teams.”
Just before 10 p.m. all emergency services left the location. The police will continue the search tomorrow.
