Fabian Nürnberger from the second division club Darmstadt 98 was closed to eight games after his freak out in the home game against SV Elversberg. Three of them are suspended for probation.
The sports court of the German Football Association punished two assaults of the 25-year-old defensive player with the hard judgment after seeing the red card at 0: 3 against SV Elversberg on match day 21.
A lock of three more games was suspended for one year. This was announced by the German Football Association (DFB).

Nürnberger had his opponent Elias Baum according to the DFB “Happy into your legs from behind”so that it had to be replaced injured.
Nuremberg then created Maximilian Rohr with the Elversberg player. This “He first grabbed his neck and then hit him with his flat hand after the tube had first captured him on his shoulders as part of a pack formation.”
Criticism also from coach Kohfeldt
Darmstadt coach Florian Kohfeldt had subsequently condemned Nuremberg’s behavior and as “Brutally stupid action” designated. “I never criticize players publicly, but that should never happen to him,” said Kohfeldt.
