The “ZDF Magazin Royale” is first during the summer break. Before another comedian on the broadcasting station causes a laugh, there will be another issue of Jan Böhmermann’s politically concerned satire magazine on Friday (June 13).
However, there are excerpts from the moderator’s tour with the Ehrenfeld radio dance orchestra. In doing so, “satirical-political revue, subversive show, outstanding music and lace poetry that nobody else can pour and forge on stages,” says ZDF.
Böhmermann adds: “Everything is possible from goosebumps to shaking frost. It is cheeky, funny and bright, and I have decided to experiment live on stage with irony, unsuitability and real feelings.”
Böhmermann means it seriously with his honorary field concerts
In addition to the ESC alternative anthem “Allo Zero Points” there was a lot of Klamauk songs on the tour (“Why does the bike path just stop here?”), Political Sea Sea (“Claus Weselsky”), “Magazin Royale” classic (“Fascism is back”) and also hear a few cover versions. Of course, everything not meant very seriously and yet brought onto the stage with Protestant professionalism.
While Böhmermann and the Ehrenfeld broadcasting dance orchestra are expanding their Eisern Ehrenfeld Tour 2025 to the Hurricane and Southside Festival in June, there is a 30-minute compilation of the highlights in the ZDF main program after a “Today Show” special. As always at the “ZDF Magazin Royale”, the program can also be found in the Media library.
