The future of Leroy Sané at Bayern is still unclear. However, a new report now indicates that a drastic change could strongly influence the negotiations.

This message could change the poker around Leroy Sané at Bayern. The Podcast “Bayern-Insider” of the “Bild” newspaper now reports: Bayern sports director Max Eberl could apparently act in the Sané case without the consent of the supervisory board-a detail that could significantly simplify the way to settle and contract extension.

According to the report, the previous border, from which the Supervisory Board has to encourage contract decisions, was raised from 25 to 50 million euros. This would have more scope for maneuver – even with a new contract for Sané including a total package in the higher double -digit million range. And would no longer have to obtain the approval of the Supervisory Board around President Herbert Hainer, Honorary President Uli Hoeneß and ex-CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

So far, Sané’s future has been considered open. Although the offensive man plays a strong season with a total of eleven competitive goals so far (nine in the Bundesliga – the best value for Sané), there should be voices within the club, which are hesitating in recent years due to a lack of consistency. A contract extension is therefore not undisputed. With the new freedom for Eberl, the 51-year-old could act contrary to critical voices.

As the podcast continues, Sané himself would be willing to do without parts of his current salary – around 20 million euros per year – to stay with the record champions. A possible new contract should run over three years. In addition, Sané’s operational opportunities could continue to increase by a possible departure of Kingsley Coman or Serge Gnabry. In addition to Sané, Bayern, in addition to Sané, should also extend with Eric Dier and Sven Ulreich.
