The Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet started the pre-Christmas season in an atmospheric way with the “Turn on the lights x Instyle” event on Friday, November 7th. RTL presenter Rebecca Mir counted down to the big moment of lights together with the visitors and let the entire center shine in festive splendor at 6:15 p.m. sharp. A magical moment that got under your skin through the subsequent Christmas concerts by the “Voice of Germany” artists Katja Friedenberg, Juan Geck and Marvin Merkhöfer. “Our ‘Turn on the lights’ event is a real highlight in the run-up to Christmas. We create a moment that brings people together and makes the magic of the pre-Christmas season tangible. When the thousand lights illuminate, the center is transformed into an atmospheric winter world – and invites you to a very special shopping experience,” says Uli Nölkensmeier, Center Director of the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet.

Do good in the run-up to Christmas

In this atmospheric atmosphere, the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet also focused its attention on people who need help. The center used the event to present its cooperation with the non-profit association “RPR Hilft eV”. Center Director Uli Nölkensmeier presented a donation voucher worth 1,500 euros that same evening, motivating visitors to take part in the large fundraising campaign for children with heart problems in Rhineland-Palatinate and to fulfill special heartfelt wishes. Donation boxes will be available in the center until the end of the month to provide 100 percent support to the affected children and their families.

Fashion, glamor and exclusive experiences

This year, late night shopping was accompanied by the lifestyle magazine Instyle. During a talk on stage, the Instyle fashion experts shared exclusive insights into glamorous holiday looks and the most beautiful trends for the Christmas season. At a meet & greet with Rebecca Mir, visitors had the opportunity to meet the successful model in person and be inspired by her style. Inspired by these impressions, many guests found their personal favorite item for the holidays in over 120 brand stores.

The event also featured numerous promotions, from hair and makeup styling in the Instyle Lounge to exclusive offers from participating brands, including a Fossil engraving station where keychains were personalized. There was also a special eye-catcher for automobile fans in the form of an exhibited Porsche 911 GT3 with touring package (992 II) as well as a competition in cooperation with the Porsche Center Kaiserslautern. And the little guests were also taken care of; they were able to create their own works of art while making lanterns, which were proudly presented during the mini-martin parade that followed through the center.

In the lovingly decorated huts of the Christmas market, guests enjoyed winter delicacies, discovered their first gift ideas in the stores and were carried away by the romantic Christmas music of the live musical acts. This year’s “Turn on the lights x Instyle” event was a successful start to the winter season.
