On the 12th day of the games, national athletes competed in duathlon, wushu, taekwondo and handball branches.
While Türkiye won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the duathlon branch today, it also won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in taekwondo.
In the team competitions, the National Women’s Handball Team defeated the Maldives 63-13 in its second match and guaranteed to advance to the semi-finals.
Türkiye continues to be first in the medal rankings on a country basis in the games.
Crescent-star athletes have won 107 medals in the games so far, including 58 gold, 29 silver and 20 bronze.
In the medal ranking, Uzbekistan is in the second place with a total of 51 medals, including 15 gold, 19 silver and 17 bronze, and Iran is in the third place with a total of 42 medals, including 11 gold, 12 silver and 19 bronze.
