Storm Amy crosses the country on Saturday, and that means a lot of rain and a boisterous day. The KNMI warns of locally heavy gusts of wind up to 80 kilometers per hour. In our province, trees have been blown over in various places.
In Berkel-Enschot, a tree blew on the Baksevenweg on Saturday morning. The fire brigade sawed the tree into pieces to clear the road again.
Even on the Zandschelweg in Deurne, a large tree was not resistant to the natural disasters. The tree blocks the road in the outskirts, here too firefighters are busy making everything.

The fire brigade was also busy cleaning up a fallen tree that blocked the Daesdonckseweg at Galder.

Furthermore, there were reports of storm damage in Valkenswaard, Helmond, East, West and Middelbeers, Budel and Waalre.
Air traffic at Eindhoven Airport is not yet bothered by the storm.

The storm is a tail of Hurricane Humberto, which was created last week in the western part of the tropical Atlantic Ocean. In no time, Humberto grew into a hurricane of the heaviest category. The hurricane has since weakened and its official status has already been lost.
Gold code yellow in Brabant until 8 am this morning. The rest of the country also has code yellow. In the east and southeast are first heavy gusts, then it becomes a bit quieter. Later in the morning and afternoon it will blow harder again, in the west and in the afternoon also inland.
From the evening only the coastal areas have to deal with heavy gusts of wind. The KNMI recommends taking into account the breaking down of tree branches.
