On the “Moments in Time” sales side, unpublished material of the rapper is currently offered for sale. According to the website, this includes recordings and texts that Tupac created between 1990 and 1991 when he was not yet under contract with his later label Sug Knights Death Row Records. At that time he worked on a debut album for his then group Jesse and the Kidz, for which the texts and the music were probably intended. However, the album could never be released because a member of the group was killed during production.
Unknown songs and handwritten lyrics
So far, only the sellers are known. However, there should be three songs on which Tupac can be heard as a lead rapper. There is also a photo of a piece of paper on which handwritten lyrics are one of the tracks.
The package with the music and the texts costs $ 250,000 in private sales. If you not only want to hear the music privately after the purchase, you have to reach an agreement with the family of the musician beforehand, as it has the distribution rights.
It is not the first time that original documents are sold. In 2023, “Moments in Time” was already auctioning a search image and a prison ID of the rapper. In the same year, Drake bought a ring for one million US dollars.
His death is still an unexplained tragedy
Tupac Amaru Shakur, as he was called in bourgeois, died on September 13, 1996 at the age of 25 in Las Vegas. He was in a car in the passenger seat when a white Cadillac held next to his car and shot on Tupac several times out of the window. The rap legend died in the hospital a short time later. The exact circumstances about his death are still not cleared up and to this day it is unknown who murdered him.
