The “Harry Potter” actor Simon Fisher-Becker died at the age of 63.
The actor played the chubby monk in “Harry Potter and the Stone of the Weisen” in 2001, better known as Hufflepuff. He became known for his role as Dorium Maldovar in the television series “Doctor Who”.
His husband Tony Dugdale confirmed Simon Fisher-Becker’s death. On Sunday (March 9) he posted the sad news on his Facebook page.
“Hello everyone. Here is Tony, Simon’s husband. I have a very sad news. Simon died at 2:50 a.m. this afternoon. I will leave this account open for a while. I still don’t know if I will post something again. Thanks.”

His agent Kim Barry also commented on “Metro” about his death: “Today I not only lost one client with Simon Fisher-Becker, but also a close, personal, long-time friend. I will never forget the call I led to him when he was offered the role of Dorium Moldovar in BBC’s ‘Doctor Who’. Simon was also a writer, a storyteller and a great speaker. He was very courteous, friendly, gracious and interested in everyone. My condolences apply to his husband Tony, his brother, his niece and nephew and his crowd of fans. ”
