Tapio Viinikangas feels that the victory of Sointu Borg & Tyrkyt brought a springboard to the media industry. Tapio has publicly opened pain, but he is not going to talk about one thing.

– It made it easier for me to speak out loud about this. The descriptions were such a big part of my life and it was strange that they ended like a wall, Tapio says in an interview with Iltalehti.
Tapio won the year of the year’s management agreement Fament Emmi Lehtoma with. Cooperation has begun in February, for example, through the design of some content and mapping suitable commercial partners.
At the beginning of the program, Sointu Borg promised to his own experience that when he dare to put himself on, life began to happen.

– Attaching school and new work is a bit at this point. This has been a mentally folding point: what is the everyday life and what part is what is? Tapio says.
– When there is demand elsewhere, it is annoying that you sometimes have to leave school issues aside. Frustrates because the school is so intense. I was thinking that this school would be a dream of someone and, for example, there is only a small handful of people in our music theater. I was wondering if I would take the most out of this, but everyone has their own life situations and stages, Tapio reminds himself.

Tapio says that it is easy to feel like you have to forge when the iron is hot. In the midst of everything, he tries to remember his limits.

Provocative name
Little Tapio knew when his friend hinted at Sointu Borg’s search video to look for a new gossip. In retrospect, he sees that the format hit him like a nose to the head. Sointu emphasized that the program does not look for a finished package. It sounded good about Tapio.
The name of the program was not heard until he was selected.
– I was really excited about it. Immediately I realized what the provocative name was sought. Of course, this name is busted, no one would look if he had a name for a Hyssyssyssyssyssey.
Tapio was not afraid to put himself in social media. Tapio returns to the time when he once took the first leaps of the somebody – he said he began to “push” himself.
-When I started branding myself in somme during the corona, I responded to the gay comments I received in Tiktok. I turned 180 degrees and started to respond to them self -irony. I made all kinds of parodies like “gay morning routines”.
– I noticed that those hate comments were subdued. Instead of starting to argue, you can make the comment yourself, Tapio says.
One does not speak
The program dealt with the work of a social media influencer from many angles. Competitors were illuminated by somebody, crisis communication and influencer campaigns.
Podcast presenter Hanna Tikander gave competitors a lesson on how to be interesting, but keep their own limits.
Already in the first episodes of the season, Tapio opened his pain and said he had anorexia. In the writing assignment, he was tasked with telling himself something that his followers do not yet know about him.
– So far it has been easy to limit what you want to talk about and not. I hadn’t talked about the illness out loud for a very long time – even to myself. It has been in the background, even though it is still present. I became aware that I had to be careful and look at my own mind: Do I do this because this audience would like to hear or because I want to talk about this, Tapio ponders.

Tapio knows how the eating disorder story would get attention, but attention is not an intrinsic value.
– Then we’re in the wrong direction. I want to go to the thing myself. I feel that there is very little talk about men’s anorexia. That’s why I want to talk about it, Tapio says.
On the other hand, at least for the time being, Tapio does not intend to speak publicly, because he does not want his public work to influence a partner’s life.

Tapio sees participation and victory in the Tyrkyt program as a big springboard for the media career.
-There is no one manuscript or route to get to the media industry. In my secret dreams, I once thought that I could get into the media industry and combine my artistic expertise with it. This was one fairway for it. Good when I dared to get involved.
– Even before the program, I had learned how important it was to leave home and grasp the events. I have learned as a musician that it is always worth going to talk to the audience after the show. Often someone asks for the next gig, Tapio says.
