TSV Havelse missed an important win against Viktoria Berlin, 3rd league – NDR – regional

On Monday evening in the Hannover 96 arena, Havelse had no access to the game at all in the early stages and was lucky not to fall behind after just a few seconds when Christopher Theisen narrowly missed the target from a few meters. Soon after, however, TSV keeper Norman Quindt had to reach behind him. Tobias Gunte headed in a corner kick from Brooklyn Ezeh to make it 1-0 (10′).

Gubinelli equalizes for Havelse

When his new coach Fart Toku made his debut, Viktoria was still in control of things until goalkeeper Julian Krahl played the ball into Niklas Teichgräber’s feet without any pressure. The 26-year-old penetrated the penalty area and passed back to Leonardo Gubinelli, who equalized with a well-placed left-footed shot (21′).

Three minutes later, Gunte had a great chance to lead Berlin again. After his inaccurate header, both teams met at eye level until half-time. And mostly in midfield. There were no further notable scenes in the penalty area until the break.

Berlin closer with the 2:1 – Fölster sees the red card

Even after the change of sides, neither team was able to create chances from the game. Two free-kicks from standard specialist Ezeh (51′, 79′) and a long-range shot by Berlin’s Björn Jopek, which Quindt let slip through his hands towards the corner (67′), were the few highlights of the basement duel until Havel’s captain Tobias Fölster countered after an emergency brake Moritz Seiffert saw the red card (80th).

Now all that was left for the Garbensers was to at least defend the point. And this was achieved by Rüdiger Ziehl’s eleven, who, however, did not really help the draw in the fight for relegation.
