After a season to forget, Eintracht Frankfurt wants to get back to its old strength as quickly as possible and hopes to establish itself at the top of the league again in the medium term. Now the Hessians apparently have their eye on 18-year-old Ruud Nijstad. At least that’s what “Voetbal International” reports
The Dutch defender only made his breakthrough last autumn, but quickly developed into a regular player at Twente Enschede. Unsurprisingly, the Netherlands U18 national player aroused interest.
Eintracht Frankfurt has to prevail against PSV Eindhoven, among others. FC Barcelona was also reportedly interested.

SC Freiburg signs attacker Keisuke Goto from Belgian first division club RSC Anderlecht. The Bundesliga club officially announced this on Thursday morning.
The club did not provide any information about the terms of the contract or the amount of the transfer fee.
“With Keisuke we were able to gain an exciting player with interesting abilities. His daring style of play will be good for us,” SC board member Jochen Saier was quoted as saying in a statement: “He likes to look for depth, has a good sense of space and also the feel for how he has to behave in the penalty area. He will certainly need a certain amount of time for integration and further development – and he will get it. We are happy!”

As the Spanish portal “fichajes.net” reports, Atlético Madrid have Nick Woltemade on their list as a “top transfer target” for this summer. The reason for this is said to be the rumors about a possible farewell to Alexander Sørloth and Julián Álvarez.
Woltemade has a long-term contract with Newcastle United until 2031. It is therefore questionable whether Atlético has a chance with the German World Cup driver.

FC Bayern is probably about to sign Nathaniel Brown. “Bild” wrote on Wednesday evening about a “breakthrough” in the negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The German national player is expected to pay “just under 65 million euros including bonuses”. Apparently there are still details to be clarified between the parties involved.
In recent days, Brown has emerged as Munich’s dream player for the left side of defense. The 22-year-old is also very popular with national coach Julian Nagelsmann. More about that here.

Will FC Schalke 04 step up in the transfer market after signing Satoshi Tanaka?
As the portal “fussballtransfers.com” reports, S04 is trying to sign Frank Magri from FC Toulouse. The 26-year-old attacker’s contract expires on June 30th. The 20-time national player for Cameroon would be available for the Bundesliga promoted team on a free transfer.
FC Schalke 04 is said to have already made offers to Magri. There is apparently a threat of competition from New York City FC and Burnley FC.
