A press conference was held before the giant derby to be played between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray in the Turkcell Super Cup Final.
Okan Buruk, the coach of the yellow-red team, made statements about both the transfer process and the squad situation.
“Fenerbahçe made 3 transfers but Galatasaray was slow in this regard?” Answering the question, Buruk stated that he has confidence in the current staff and said: “We have a very good squad. Victor Osimhen and Ismail Jakobs are in the African Cup. Singo will not be there, but our other players are ready. Our transfer work is continuing.” he said.

Buruk stated that the transfer process is not always under the control of the club. “You will either pay a lot of money, or you will choose players who can be released easily due to their contracts. Since we cannot play new transfers in the Champions League, we have time to make transfers. We will bring the right players at the right time.” he said.
Experienced coach Buruk also stated that the busy fixture and transfer process was challenging for him. “We are both playing matches and constantly giving our opinions about the transfer. We have important transfer work. There will be reinforcements as soon as possible, no one should have any doubts.” He gave a message to Galatasaray fans by saying.
