Galatasaray announced that they have loaned 24-year-old Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo to Aston Villa, one of the English teams.
The following statements were used in the statement made by the yellow-red club to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP):
“An agreement has been reached with Aston Villa FC Limited for the temporary transfer of our professional football player Nicol Zaniolo for the 2023-2024 season with a conditional compulsory purchase option.
According to the agreement, Aston Villa FC Limited will pay our company a temporary transfer fee of 5.000.000 euro and a conditional bonus of maximum 1.375.000 euro. The transfer fee of the football player is 22,500,000 euros. In addition, there are conditional bonuses of 15,500,000 euros in our agreement.
In addition, in the event that the player is transferred to Aston Villa FC Limited and transfers to a third club in the future, 10% of the profit of the sale will be paid to our company.
