Cologne coach surprises on the sidelines

The 1st FC Köln started the Bundesliga season on Sunday. Coach Lukas Kwasniok presented himself in a surprising outfit for his debut in the football Oberhaus.
At 3:30 p.m. the time had come: 1. FC Köln plays again in the Bundesliga. At FSV Mainz 05, the first game was in the football upper house after the “billy goats” spent the past year in the 2nd league. Cologne coach in the new season is Lukas Kwasniok, whom the club from Paderborn won.
And for the start in Mainz, Kwasniok had also come up with something special. The 44-year-old followed the game on the sidelines in the jersey. Most coaches are outside in a training suit of the club or in everyday clothing, Kwasniok preferred to choose his new employer’s home jersey.
At DAZN he explained his choice with the words: “The jersey was there, I think it is absolutely successful. I found this combination very suitable for the first game in the Bundesliga. And hopefully it will be a good omen.”
By the way, Kwasniok was alone on the pitch with the home jersey. His team played in the alternative jersey, red and white are also the colors of FSV Mainz 05, which was preferred as a home team.
