Tennis professional Alexander Zverev has the first round of the clay court tournament in Rio de Janeiro survived.
In his opening match, Alexander Zverev defeated the Chinese Bu Yunchaokete 7: 6 (7: 4), 6: 4 and has to do it in the round of 16 with Alexander Schewchenko from Kazakhstan. Zverev is set in position one in Rio.
Zverev against BU did justice to his favorite role at the beginning. He took the serve the Chinese early on, but then had a short phase of weakness in which his opponent also had one Break succeeded.
BU kept up well and started the catch-up, at the end of a 78-minute first set Zverev even had to fend off a set ball and still saved himself into the tie-break, which he ultimately won.
Zverev: “too much wanted”
