RTL 4 is shamelessly trying to milk the success of B&B full of love with a late edition of RTL Boulevard, but viewers drop out en masse. “It might be really too much.”
RTL Boulevard has been one of the best -watched programs of RTL 4 for years, but not everything they touch there turns into gold. The late edition of the program, entitled RTL Boulevard Summernight, feels more like an appendix of B&B full of love than as a full -fledged show section. There is a lot of talk about the dating show.
Historically Bad Day
Tina Nijkamp, also known as Tina Telraam, mercilesses the viewing figures mercilessly. “July 18, 2025 will certainly not go into the books like a florissant day for RTL Boulevard. In fact: a historically bad day,” she sniffs on her analysis canal.

According to Tina, there is something structurally wrong with the formula. “Has Boulevard ever scored under 300,000? No, not with a regular broadcast. It is one of the most popular TV shows in the Netherlands, but this Late Night version seems to find too much or too much a B&B cambry show.”

RTL Boulevard Summernight is not just a summer experiment, but also a kind of general rehearsal for RTL Tonight, the new program that will take the place of Beau, Humberto and Renze. That new show is a kind of boulevard, but with news and politics.
